Organizational Visit for BSW - Gandhibhavan Pathanapuram
The Bharata Mata School of Social Work organized a field visit to Gandhibhavan Pathanapuram on August 31, 2024. Thirty-six BSW students and three faculty members participated in the excursion to this esteemed non-governmental organization dedicated to the welfare of the destitute. Gandhibhavan, situated in Kollam District, Kerala, offers invaluable services to those marginalized by society.

During the visit, the students gained a comprehensive understanding of the institution's administrative structure, operational processes, and living facilities. They had the opportunity to interact with the residents, fostering meaningful connections and contributing to their well-being. To express their gratitude, Gandhibhavan presented the group with a commemorative photograph.

Shema Elsa Daniel, Delty Joseph, and Arun Paul addressed the gathering, conveying the students' appreciation for the enriching experience. The visit also explored potential internship opportunities for MSW students at Gandhibhavan. In a gesture of solidarity, the students made a monetary contribution to support the organization's noble endeavors.
