The aim of this Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is to establish a framework for strengthening operational partnership between BMSSW and Sahrudaya. Under the auspices of this framework, the Parties shall develop specific activities, projects or programmes to be implemented in a spirit of co-operation and common commitment to further create a model for NGO academic partnership in the field of professional social work practice

The activities to be carried out in furtherance of this MOU shall be focused mainly on the following core areas includes; Community based rehabilitation of persons with disabilities, Community based disaster reduction, Research and publications Targeted interventions in selected communities, Facilitating government programmes through networking and collaborations with various agencies such as panchaythiraj institutions and other likeminded organizations and any other areas of cooperation as may be mutually agreed upon by both Parties.

Recognizing the human and other resource implications of the objectives of this MOU, due diligence shall be made to efforts to support each other in these respects to the extent feasible and in the appropriate manner.
