Bharata Mata College Best Social Work Academician Award 2023: 

Social work is a practice-based profession and an academic discipline that promotes social change and development, social cohesion, and the empowerment and liberation of people. Principles of social justice, human rights, collective responsibility, and respect for diversities are central to social work. The Best Social Work Academician Award is instituted to honour a person who has contributed to the development of professional social work as an academic discipline. His/her contribution to developing indigenous knowledge in professional social work will be given due weightage. The honour consists of a cash award of INR 10001 and a citation, which will be presented in the National Conference Exploring the multidimensional prospects of Millets – the Panacea to Kerala’s Growing Public Health Menace on 01 and 02 February 2024.
The applicants can propose themselves or anybody else can propose. The applications will be scrutinized and evaluated by the committee
