BMSSW Faculty Expertise Beyond the Campus
We are proud to share that Dr Remesh Krishnan P, Assistant Professor, BMSSW, served as the Resource Person for a Special Lecture on:
“Mental Health and Psychosocial Well-Being: Understanding Mental Health Issues and the Role of Social Workers”
The lecture was organized by the Department of Social Work, University of Ladakh, and was conducted online on 24 August 2026.
The session focused on strengthening students’ understanding of mental health and psychosocial well-being while highlighting the significant role of social workers in mental health promotion, prevention, counselling, psychosocial support, and referral services.
