On 19th July 2019 at 3:30pm, the social work trainees of Bharat Mata School of Social work organized a flash mob as a part of “Maalinyamillatha Malayala Naadu” programme. The programme was organized by Gandhiji study centre led by honorable MLA P J Joseph. He preceded over the programme and gave the presidential address of the meeting. The function was inaugurated by Ms. Almitra Patel, Indian Environmental Policy Advocate and anti pollution activist. She discussed several problems faced by the peoples of Kochi on septic tank waste management which leads to the pollution of our water bodies. She added up remedies like having a plant for decomposition and putting bigger outlets from septic tank to the decomposition site. The programme wound up by 6pm.
