Hands That Save Lives
July 29, 2026

On 29th July 2026, our 3rd semester MSW students successfully conducted a CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) Training Session for their junior batch.

The session was facilitated by —Nived P. C., Fr. Akhil Edassery, Akshara Peter, Jalith Jiji John, Shailaja, Gadha Raneesh, Ananya Arun, Abhirami S, and Amala Krishna—who provided practical demonstrations and guided participants through the essential steps of performing CPR with confidence and accuracy.

Through hands-on practice and interactive learning, the session empowered students with a vital life-saving skill, reinforcing the importance of timely intervention during medical emergencies.

As future social workers, being equipped with emergency response skills is an invaluable step towards serving individuals and communities with competence, compassion, and confidence.

Every second counts. Every heartbeat matters.
