On 30 July 2026, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed with Mahila Vikas Samaj (MVS) at the college campus, with the objective of enhancing academic collaboration and community-based field education. The MoU was duly signed by Rev. Dr. Abraham Oliapurath, Manager of Bharata Mata College, representing the institution, and Mr. Adhithya R. Nair, Associate Project Coordinator of Mahila Vikas Samaj, representing the organization. The signing ceremony was attended by witnesses Dr Sheena Rajan Philip, Head of BMSSW, and Mr. Akshay Sunil, Internship Coordinator of MVS. The collaboration is designed to facilitate structured concurrent fieldwork, experiential learning, Panchayat-based community engagement, research, training, and extension activities. Such initiatives aim to provide students with practical exposure to grassroots governance, women’s empowerment, and sustainable community development projects.
