PRA Workshop – Glimpses
Bharata Mata School of Social Work, in association with BeFORE, organised a Two-Day Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) Workshop for our MSW Semester I students on 15 & 16 September 2026, taking learning beyond the classroom and into the community.
Our sincere gratitude to our resource persons, Ms Mubashira K and Ms Himaja Jayarajan, PhD Scholars (UGC-JRF), School of Social Work, Marian College Kuttikkanam (Autonomous), for sharing their expertise and guiding our students through the PRA process with such dedication. 
Heartfelt thanks to our faculty for their constant support and coordination in making this experiential learning opportunity a success, and to BeFORE for their valuable collaboration and partnership. 
Our students applied key PRA tools and techniques at Kunnathunad Panchayat, engaging with the community to listen, observe, and learn together, and a detailed report was submitted to BeFORE and BMSSW.
